Dear Niko,

I was one of the four women who ate the restaurant last Friday night (11/04/05). Two of the gals in our party had never eaten at Niko’s before. (Remember the black-haired gal who asked you what other restaurants were in the area?). Luckily, we convinced her to wait for the 20 minutes to be seated!

Your food was excellent, as two of us had expected it to be from our previous visits. Everyone was pleased with the selections they had made. We tasted one another’s dinners and concurred that everything was wonderful. Now, for the most important reason for my note. Our waitress, Tabitha, was the best waitress I have ever had! She was friendly, congenial, knowledgeable about the cuisine, and extremely attentive. She got all of our orders perfectly, promptly responded to all our requests, and even brought a special birthday dessert for the birthday girl (and sang “ Happy Birthday”).

So — Thanks to you and to Tabitha for a wonderful dining experience!!

I am writing to applaud you for your incredible restaurant. I am a Family Social Service major at Northern Illinois University. As I am a full student I can only work part time, causing me to be cautious with how I spend my money. I do not go out to eat often, so when I do I am hoping for an extraordinary experience, which is exactly what I received at your establishment.

The pleasant experience started out strong from the minute my party and I arrived, when we were greeted in a friendly manner. The elegant decor and friendly greeting made us feel confident in the future of the evening. The waiter was pleasant and attentive, and most importantly, he was enthusiastic with his “OPA!” which keeps the atmosphere real and fun. The appetizers and main course were perfectly coordinated to arrive in a timely manner, as well as delicious.

The scrumptious food and attentive service made my party and I feel like the only customers in the restaurant. I wanted to commend you on your fantastic job, I know your business is new and it appears as though you have already worked all the ‘new business kinks out.’ I am looking forward to visiting you again, and I am confident that my future experiences will be as good, or better, than the first. On behalf of The Sun City Theatre Company, I am writing to tell you how delighted we were with the service we received at Niko’s last Saturday night. From the moment we arrived with our boxes of decorations to place around the room, you were all extremely helpful and enthusiastic about our needs. The room ended up looking just as festive as we had hoped it would when we were making our plans.

We would also like to compliment our waitresses, Nikki and Liz, for their excellent service-with a smile from the beginning to the end of the evening. And, of course, the food was delicious.
